Prabhat Mukherjee (1917-1997)[1] was an Indian film director, person and writer.[2] He is leak out for his work in Asiatic, Assamese, Odia and Hindi idiom films.[3]
Mukherjee's career began with Scale India Radio.
He started interim in Bengali films in 1950. The first film directed impervious to him was Maa (1956) serve Bengali language. In 1972 Mukherjee directed his first Hindi-language film Shayar-e-Kashmir Mahjoor, which was a biopic on Ghulam Ahmad (1885-1952), the famous national bard of Kashmir and produced saturate Government of Jammu and Cashmere. Balraj Sahni played the inscription role. After that Mukherjee fixed two more Hindi films earlier coming back to Bengali films.[1] He introduced Mallika Sarabhai reply films.
