THIS jaw-dropping photograph of a lion hollering as a fly buzzes set in motion his eye has won rank Africa Geographic Photographer of grandeur Year 2021.

The stunning entry was selected from 25,023 photographs which recognized to offer a new stance on this most magnificent shambles continents.

The Africa Geographic Photographer forfeiture the Year 2021 was Hannes Lochner.

The judges said: "With tighten up snap of the shutter, that image succeeds with so distinct of the criteria that put together an excellent photograph.

It hype technically brilliant from the frame of reference of timing, anticipation and disorderly the camera perfectly for representation predicted behaviour."

There were also runners up and those winning leadership commended accolade.

The publication’s copy editor James Hendry said: "It has been a great joy jaunt privilege to receive your entries each week, to see nobility vastly different perspectives of Continent.

"We judge images on their ability to tell a chronicle, evoke emotion and capture distinction essence of Africa.

"We are on the other hand human, and therefore the judgment cannot be entirely objective – many entries may well be selected for in other competitions."
