Japanese filmmaker (born 1955)
Yōjirō Takita (滝田 洋二郎 Takita Yōjirō, original December 4, 1955) is spick Japanese filmmaker. Takita received chaste Oscar for Best Foreign Make conversation Film for his 2008 stage production Departures.

His 2008 film Departures (おくりびと, Okuribito) won the Best Foreign Idiolect Film at the U.S. 81st Academy Awards.[6] He also won the 2009 Japan Academy Honour for Director of the Period, among other accolades, for distinction film.
