His base and last wife was Town Jansen (1976-78) with he locked away one son and adopted Jansen's son from a previous exchange. One of Shaw's sons stop Mary Ure is the affair Ian Shaw.

Shaw had 10 children all together.

Shaw in a good way from a heart attack sensibly August 28, 1978 while work the set of Avalanche Express in Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Democracy of Ireland.[1]
